Located on the road between Kimbolton and Spaldwick, the village of Stow Longa sits atop a hill and is surrounded by farmland. It comprises approximately 70 residences of varying age and size, and has a population of some 140 people. Situated close to the A14 and A1, the Village has good road links; Huntingdon and St Neots railway stations are also nearby (about 10 miles). St Botolph’s Church is located near the Village centre and, together with some listed thatched cottages and a monument, provides an attractive reminder of Stow Longa’s history. Residents and visitors enjoy an extensive network of footpaths, bridleways and byways; dog walkers and horse owners are particularly well catered for. Hunts Kart Club operates on the ex-WW2 Kimbolton Airfield and has 13 meetings each year. Bicton and Harvard Industrial Estates are also nearby and house a diverse range of businesses. The Parish Council strives to preserve and, where possible, enhance the Stow Longa ‘experience’.
